This family session took place in Atlantic Beach. Atlantic Beach has been voted one of the top beaches in Florida. The longer I live here the more discerning of beaches I am becoming. The beach is soft, white and sandy. The homes are darling to look at.
There was a storm about to roll in. We finished just as the rain started to come down. This family is awesome and so busy. They’ve had to spend a lot of time apart. The thought all that I do, I do for you kept going through my head while editing this session. All the sacrifices that are made are done for this little handsome guy right here. He just turned one and starting to walking around. It’s such a fun age to see a huge accomplishment.
Both parent’s were enthusiastic during the photo-session. They were so engaged with their little man. The happy smiles and the laughter from all made the session so fun. The sticks that washed up from the hurricane were great because it contained the little guy for a couple of minutes to get some solo photos.I love the little curl in the blonde hair and happy blue eyes. The dad effortlessly carried his son on his shoulders. He very kindly ran back to the car to get some things for the baby. He was laid back and go with the flow. I meet the best dads. They have all been so hands on with their children not because they have to but because they want to. I love this photo because I love the mix of happy, loving photos but also the quiet, peaceful feelings this picture evokes. Motherhood to me is filled with so much joy but also my desire to be soft and patient. I felt like this mama here displayed all these wonderful feelings during out session. She has a contagious smile and laugh but also a wonderful ability to be contently present in the moment. Where was the one year old during the couple photos? We placed him higher up on the beach. Then we quickly took a few pictures. Turned around and grabbed him because he was headed straight for the ocean. Then placed him back up in the sand again. Took another photo and turned around to grab him. Dad had his eyes glued to the runner the whole time.
